Airbus, a European multinational aerospace corporation has paid a courtesy visit to Nigerian Communications Satellite (NIGCOMSAT) Ltd with the view to showcasing its capability and willingness to offer further engagement and related services in the communications satellite industry.
Leading a team of experts to NIGCOMSAT complex in Abuja, the Executive Vice President Marketing and Sales, Dr. Brenner Beruhard explained that Airbus has already established a presence in Nigeria with its local agency known as Airbus Nigeria.
‘We have ambition to develop our presence in Nigeria. We offer services on space telecoms, earth observation, cyber solution, defence intelligence, satellites building, sale and services’, said Dr. Beruhard.
The Marketing chief said they are in Nigeria and NIGCOMSAT Ltd in particular to showcase what they can offer and register their presence in a more competitive engagements of international standard for seamless services.
Dr. Beruhard who came in company of Air Vice Marshal Victor Udoh (Rtd) President, Airbus Nigeria and Rafa Gomax, was delighted to be in NIGCOMSAT Ltd to show Africa and Nigeria what his company can offer.
Responding, the Managing Director Abimbola Alale (Ph.D.) who was represented by Executive Director, Technical, Prof. Abdu Ja’afaru Bambale, welcomed the team and commended Airbus of maintaining strong presence in the communications industry.
Furthermore, the team which was led by Executive Director, Technical, Abdu Ja’afaru Bambale, Executive Director, Finance and Administration, Mr. Hadi Mohammed, General Manager Satellite Applications, Engr. Abdulraheem Adajah, General Manager Broadcasting, Engr. Shehu Kaura amongst others, assured Airbus of collaborative efforts towards forging a working relationship.
