NIGCOMSAT strategic retreat for Board and Management

The strategic retreat for board and management of Nigerian Communications Satellite (NIGCOMSAT) Limited took place on the 19th-21st of September at Treasures Suites in Abuja, Nigeria.
The Honourable Minister of Communications & Digital Economy, Dr. Isa Ibrahim Pantami (fncs, fbcs, fiim), declared the retreat open and delivered the opening remarks, where he stated his short term targets for NIGCOMSAT for improved public image/visibility and quality of service within the next two months.
The aim of the retreat was to explore ways of improving the services of NIGCOMSAT Ltd and repositioning it for the next level.
The Managing Director/Chief Executive Ofiicer of NICOMSAT Ltd, Dr. Abimbola Alale, in her speech, in line with the Honourable Mnister's target, defined a new roadmap for NIGCOMSAT Ltd. The company would restructure and partner with private sector to improve the visibility of the company especially in the downstrean sector and thereby increase revenue.
Key resolutions were made from the syndicate sessions that were held at the retreat.
The retreat strengthened peer-to-peer relations, improved communication, and contributed to a collegial and supportive work environment.
